Leaders in volunteering for over 80 years   

Royal Voluntary Service is one of Britain’s largest volunteering organisations. For over 80 years we’ve demonstrated the power of civic participation, inspiring millions of citizens to deliver vital support and relief in communities and the NHS. 

We’re the recognised leaders in using digital to mobilise volunteers at scale. During the pandemic, on behalf of NHS England, we set up the largest digital volunteering initiative of its kind, NHS and Care Volunteer Responders. Through an app, over 600,000 volunteers were mobilised, many of them first timers.
