Charitable trusts & foundations

Support from charitable trusts and foundations is hugely important, helping us to mobilise volunteers across the country, supporting the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

Grant funding underpins everything from local community, hospital and home-based support to regional networks and national programmes that address wider issues. We focus particularly on issues such as disadvantage and inequalities in health, and on involving volunteers from underrepresented groups.

We’d love to chat about your objectives, and the projects we deliver which could help you meet them. We’re confident you’ll find something that allows you to create the changes you want to be part of, and that will inspire you as much as it inspires us.

The impact of our work

We regularly ask our volunteers and the people they support about the difference that being part of Royal Voluntary Service makes to their lives and publish the results.  During the last few years this has included our emergency response to COVID-19 and setting up of the NHS Volunteer Responders programme with NHS England and the GoodSAM app.
