Royal Voluntary Service ambassadors & supporters
Here are some of the famous faces who have supported us recently.
Thanks to them we have been able to champion volunteering and show the difference we make to people’s lives and to the NHS.
Elaine Paige OBE - Ambassador
Elaine became an Ambassador for Royal Voluntary Service in 2018 and has since played a pivotal role in promoting the charity’s work, including getting stuck in as a hospital trolley volunteer.
Ade Adepitan MBE
Ade was a celebrity judge for our 2022 Platinum Champions Awards, helping to encourage volunteer nominations and to select the most outstanding volunteers to be crowned Platinum Champions.
Tasha Ghouri
Tasha joined us as an Awards Ambassador for official Coronation project, the Coronation Champions Awards, and helped us to celebrate Britain’s most remarkable volunteers at an exciting moment in our nation’s history.
Ross Kemp
We have joined forces with Ross to say a big “Cheers to Volunteers” and raise a mug to volunteers across the country on national Thank You Day, for the past three years.
Tom Read Wilson
Tom joined us as a celebrity judge for the Platinum Champions Awards in 2022 and has continued to help us to celebrate the amazing impact of volunteers by working with us once again for the Coronation Champions Awards.
Felicity Kendal CBE - Ambassador
Felicity joined Royal Voluntary Service as an Ambassador in 2011 and having undertaken some volunteering of her own, regularly helps us to highlight the work of the charity and the difference that our remarkable volunteers make to people’s health and happiness.
Dr Zoe Williams
Dr Zoe met with Steward Volunteers and thanked them for supporting the COVID-19 vaccination rollout as part of the Helping Hands at Christmas campaign with The Sun, and then later joined us as an Awards Ambassador for the Coronation Champions Awards, to further recognise the great work of volunteers.
