NHS and Care Volunteer Responders - next steps for research
Royal Voluntary Service is working in partnership with the London School of Economics to measure the impact of the NHS & Care Volunteer Responders programme on wellbeing. The research aims to measure volunteers at various stages of their volunteer journey (e.g. before they volunteer, while they wait for their next volunteer activity, and shortly after they have volunteered) to understand the longitudinal benefits of volunteering.
Royal Voluntary Service will also be measuring the impact of the programme on those who are supported via the programme, and those professionals referring into the programme.
Through 2023-25 we will be publishing these findings on this website.
